PNG Industrial and Mining Resources Exhibition and Conference is the premier event that brings together all sectors of the industrial, mining and resources industries into one location to create a marketplace where business is done.
The event is delivered by Prime Creative Media, with a commitment to invest into the professionalism, infrastructure and marketing of the event, both locally and internationally.
In 2026, the two-day exhibition will feature an array of equipment displays and stands across an expanded floorplan, while the conference will showcase experts from across the mining and resources sector presenting on challenges and opportunities for the local industry.
At PNG Expo, networking doesn’t end when delegates leave the expo floor! A welcome reception and official networking function means attendees can continue building valuable business relationships in relaxed, social settings across the entire event.
Please be advised that the conference program is not final and is subject to change

Mining developments often drive major investments in transport links, power generation, and digital systems. This panel explores how these connectivity and infrastructure upgrades- initiated through mining-can be planned and financed to also support wider national development priorities. It will look at how improved access and technology can benefit remote communities, enable new economic opportunities, and contribute to long-term resilience across PNG.

Papua New Guinea is entering a period of sustained infrastructure and resource development, yet remains heavily reliant on imported cement. Pacific Lime and Cement is developing the country’s first integrated domestic cement manufacturing platform to support long term infrastructure growth, reduce import dependence, and improve supply security. This presentation will focus on the strategic rationale for domestic production, PNG’s unique resource and market advantages, and how local cement manufacturing can lower costs, strengthen supply chains, and support national development.
Establishing and operating a mine in PNG's rugged, isolated terrain presents extraordinary logistical challenges. How are mining companies procuring equipment, managing supply chains across difficult geography, and maintaining operations when the nearest port or road could be hundreds of km away?
What new exploration models (data, AI, remote sensing) are relevant to PNG’s geology and context? How can PNG attract exploration capital?
Session details to come.

PNG faces challenges building a sustainable and skilled local workforce and linking supply-chains locally.

PNG's resources sector is well known for its vast reserves of high-quality minerals and precious metals, but getting them into commercial markets remains a challenge. How can local projects attract the kind of global investment backing required to establish and maintain production?
