Simon approaches each project with an engineering mindset, collaborating closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to deliver tailored, engineered solutions. His focus areas include fall protection, abseil systems, and access solutions for a diverse range of buildings and structures.

His work has extended beyond New Zealand, with project experience throughout the Pacific Islands—including Papua New Guinea, China, the Solomon Islands, Tonga, and American Samoa—where he has shared his knowledge and passion for improving workplace safety at height.
