Chief Operating Officer of High Arctic

Steve Lambert joined High Arctic on 7 June 2014, where he is the Chief Operating Officer. He has over 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with senior management roles overseeing Operations, HSE, Quality and Compliance, Training, Human Resources, Risk, and other shared services. 

 

Before working in oil and gas, Steve completed a successful military career spanning over 20 years. He finished his time as a senior instructor and training developer at the Land Warfare Centre, developing and delivering training for leadership, planning, strategy, and tactics. 

 

Before joining High Arctic, Steve was the Executive General Manager for Quality, Health and Safety for QLD and the Pacific Islands in Transfield Services and was the CEO of their oil and gas training centre. In this role, his scope of responsibility transitioned across industries that included rail, hospitality, oil and gas, mining, health, construction and infrastructure projects. 

 

Steve is very passionate about the development of people and has dedicated his 11 years in PNG to progressing opportunities for High Arctic’s Citizen workforce.
