Brett McDermott is a Partner in KPMG Papua New Guinea’s Business & Tax Advisory practice. He joined the PNG firm in 2023 after more than 20 years with KPMG Australia. Brett brings extensive experience across business accounting, tax compliance, management reporting, and financial governance. He has advised large family groups, privately owned businesses, multinational investors, and public companies across a wide range of industries. Brett leads key service offerings including payroll, statutory compliance, work permits and visas, accounting services, and client training. He is a member of CPA Papua New Guinea and Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
